There isn't a way to put your Ghost(Pro) account on hold. You need to have an active subscription for your Ghost(Pro) site to stay online. If you'd like to stop payment, you'll have to cancel your account completely.
Before you cancel your account, we can always provide you with a full publication archive that includes your images. This will allow you to reimport your site data if you ever decide to sign back up with Ghost in the future.
