Public Dev Meeting Nov 10th
This week is sprint change over week, so today's meeting was our third hangout meeting.
Meeting Summary
We're all feeling quite positive about the sprint process, and having a soft deadline in place for a set amount of work. It helps to keep focus and provide regular points for reflection on progress. However the last sprint wasn't as structured and well set out as the first sprint and we agreed it would be better to have a bit more clarity about what was getting done again.
With this in mind, during this week's meeting we setup a Sprint Epic with the work that is planned to be completed.
For the next two weeks the 'sprint team' will be made up of Kevin & me (there's a tonne of stuff to do internally too). Our first focus is to wrap up the outstanding public API work, which has overrun due to unforeseen bugs, regressions and other circumstances. We're excited about releasing the public API features and seeing how people make use of them.
Once that is completed, we both have significant amounts of refactoring & cleaning up we want to do in our respective domains (Kevin = frontend, me = backend) to lay ground work for large future projects.

What is this?
We hold a public development meeting pretty much every Tuesday at 5:30pm London time in the #dev channel on Ghost's slack. In this meeting we discuss progress, important issues, and what is and isn't on the Roadmap. It's a chance for everyone to get involved and have their say about where Ghost goes next.
Hope to see you at next week's meeting: Tuesday 3rd November, 5:30pm London time.
