What are the requirements to apply?
We're looking for creators who actively use Ghost, and want to help us spread the word as an advocate.
To apply, you must:
- Have your own Ghost publication and create original content
- Have an established audience (~10,000 people or more)
- Have the time and resources to create your own referral content
Should you apply?
If you believe you can make 5 or more successful referrals within the first 3 months of joining, then you should apply. Referral accounts that don't make any successful referrals will be automatically suspended.

How it works
If your application is approved, you'll get access to a custom referral link that you can use to promote Ghost(Pro) to your audience via blog content, newsletters, videos, podcast episodes or any other type of online content. You'll earn a share of the revenue for every customer you refer!
How will I know if my application is accepted?
All applications are reviewed by our team. If your application is approved, then you'll receive an email with further information and tools to help you get started.
Anyone is welcome to submit an application - however due to a very high number of submissions, we're not able to respond to each one.
How are referrals tracked?
Once you’re approved as a referral partner, you can access a custom referral link — which will cookie anyone who visits any *.ghost.org domain for 90 days. If they become a Ghost(Pro) customer within that 3 month period then you’ll be credited as the referrer. All partners have access to a dashboard where you can track how many referrals you've made.
What is the commission structure?
We pay a 30% recurring commission for every single payment your referred customers make. That means for as long as they continue to use Ghost(Pro), you'll keep receiving a commission (monthly or yearly depending on their plan type). If they upgrade their plan, your commission increases accordingly.
How do payouts work?
Commission is paid out monthly directly to your Wise.com account or bank account. Depending on your payout type, minimum amounts may apply.
