Payouts

Getting new referrals come in is exciting, as it means the amount of revenue you are earning from the Ghost referral program is growing. Here's everything you need to know about getting paid.

Available payment methods

We support two payout methods that you can choose from depending on your preference.  

1️⃣ Wise payouts

This is the preferred method with no minimum payout amount, which means you'll receive all payouts as soon as they are due, regardless of the amount.

How to setup a Wise account for payouts
Wise payouts are the recommended payout method for the Ghost referral program, and have no minimum payout amount.

Once you've followed this guide and setup your Wise account for payouts, you'll receive monthly payouts when due directly into your Wise account.

2️⃣ Direct bank account payouts

This payout method is best suited for those who have larger payout amounts, or people who aren't able to use Wise.com.

  • The minimum payout amount when using a direct bank account payout is $300 — this means you won't receive a payout until you have made this amount or more in commission.
  • You will be responsible for any payment fees associated with payouts to your bank account. This varies depending on your bank.

If you’d like to receive payouts to your bank account, then you’ll need to select the correct country, and provide bank details and your physical address from the referrals dashboard.

Payment schedule

Payouts are always calculated and paid monthly. If you have payouts due, then you will receive the payout around the 1st of each month (or the next working day).

The date may vary slightly depending on processing times for your chosen payout method. You can track your payouts in the referral dashboard any time, to see what payouts are upcoming.

Refunds

If a referred Ghost(Pro) customer decides to cancel their subscription and receives a refund, our referral software automatically detects this and deducts the refunded amount from your commission.

As stated in our Terms of Service, refunds are at the explicit discretion of Ghost Foundation. We typically only offer full refunds within the first three days of starting a subscription, or pro-rated refunds if a customer has decided they no longer want to use the service on an annual plan.
