## Progress Report

Everyone took a nice break for the holidays, but there is also a large backlog of unmerged PRs ready to go in this week.

## Priority Issues

There are currently more than 50 issues open marked as a bug, of which \~15 are also marked with the [fix-wanted](https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues?q=is%3Aopen+label%3Abug+label%3A%22fix+wanted%22&ref=ghost.org) label, which is used to indicate bugs that we'd love to see PRs for. We'd love to make a dent in these numbers!

## Discussion

The next release will be cut as soon as a sensible number of bug fixes have been merged. For this year we're going to keep a strong focus on releasing every 2-4 weeks, with 6 weeks being the absolute maximum.

We've extended the current sprint ([epic is here](https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/6191?ref=ghost.org)) by a week to give us more planning time. Next week's meeting will be a hangout to kick off a new sprint for the new year, and we'll be starting to provide more clarity around the planned projects for the beginning of the year.

## What is this?

We hold a public development meeting pretty much every Tuesday at 5:30pm London time in the #dev channel on Ghost's [slack](https://forum.ghost.org/?ref=ghost.org). In this meeting we discuss progress, important issues, and what is and isn't on [the Roadmap](https://trello.com/b/EceUgtCL/ghost-roadmap?ref=ghost.org). It's a chance for everyone to get involved and have their say about where Ghost goes next.
