A few weeks ago, we launched [welcome emails](https://ghost.org/changelog/welcome-emails/) in Ghost. The response so far has been incredible to hear — and you've had plenty to say, which is exactly what we were hoping for.

The clearest thing you told us: you wanted access to all the features and cards you rely on in the Ghost editor when writing your welcome emails. Images, buttons, bookmarks, callouts, HTML cards — all of it.

So that's what we built first.

You now have the full power of the Ghost editor when crafting welcome emails for your audience.

This is the first of many iterations to come as we build toward a broader automation suite in Ghost, and your feedback is directly shaping what we prioritize next. Keep it coming.

[**Ghost(Pro)**](https://ghost.org/pricing/?ref=ghost.org) users can log in and start enjoying all of this right away! If you're a developer, self-hosting Ghost, you'll need to [update](https://ghost.org/docs/update/?ref=ghost.org) to the latest version to get access to everything that's new.

If there are ways you think this feature could be more valuable based on the way you use Ghost, we’d like to hear it. Let us know using the feedback link in the left sidebar of Ghost Admin.
